Tech Meets Earth: Exploring Soil Health with the PREPSOIL Mobile App

Soil health is becoming an increasingly urgent issue, impacting everything from food security to biodiversity and climate resilience. The good news? Everyone has a role to play in protecting and restoring our soils!

Over the past two years, the PREPSOIL project has worked closely with Living Labs, educators, farmers, researchers, and citizens to raise awareness about soil health, share knowledge on the condition of soils across Europe, and explore innovative, community-driven solutions.

To take this mission further, PREPSOIL has developed two key digital tools:

  • The Knowledge Hub – a one-stop shop for accessible, multilingual resources on soil health, practices, and scientific literature.

  • The PREPSOIL Mobile App – a user-friendly, interactive tool that connects citizens and researchers, facilitates data collection, and encourages knowledge sharing on soil conditions and practices.

In this webinar, we’ll introduce the PREPSOIL Mobile App, walk through its key features, and demonstrate how different stakeholders can use it to contribute to soil knowledge, monitor changes, and promote healthier soils across Europe.
