Multilingual Soil Knowledge Hub

The Multilingual Soil Knowledge Hub is a multi-language, online library that provides access to numerous resources including best practices, policy recommendations, experiments, video interviews with engaged stakeholders and publications focused on different aspects of soil health in Europe.

PREPSOIL Mobile App

This mobile app also provides easy access to PREPSOIL digital assets (Knowledge Hub, Interactive Atlas, PREPSOIL TV) and the opportunity to help improve our soils with citizens’ observations and participation to Soil Quests.

Interactive Atlas and Tools for Living Labs and Lighthouses

The PREPSOIL Interactive Atlas maps over 100 Soil Health Living Lab (LL) and Lighthouse (LH) initiatives across Europe, showcasing organizations that are actively working or starting as LLs and LHs. This platform is designed to facilitate knowledge exchange, foster networking, and support the creation of new consortia.

Best Teaching Practices

PREPSOIL Best Teaching Practices in Soil Education in primary & secondary schools showcase innovative approaches to soil education that engage young minds from, 6 to 20 years old, in understanding and valuing the role that soils play in our ecosystem and thereby increase soil literacy among youth.

Soil Needs Assessment

The European Union’s Soil Mission implementation plan lists multiple societal needs from healthy soils. To meet these demands PREPSOIL is supporting the implementation of the Soil Mission by creating awareness and knowledge on soil needs among stakeholders in regions across Europe.

Soil Monitoring

PREPSOIL has supported the development of a harmonised framework for soil monitoring in Europe. It has analysed the knowledge base available to monitor soil indicators proposed under the Soil Mission and has made proposals to bridge the gap by extending the findings from agricultural soil projects to other types of soils, through the following lines of action.

Communities of Practice & Forum

PREPSOIL is screening Communities of Practice (CoP) across Europe, from different land uses, where actors get together to address, and act upon, a specific concern related to soils in their territories. They promote soil literacy, awareness and societal appreciation regarding the importance of soil health.
