Using synergies - implementing the mission
Using the example of the EU soil mission, this workshop will show how actors from science and practice can realise their projects within the framework of Horizon Europe and with the help of the EU structural and agricultural funds.
Synergies are an ideal approach to implementing interdisciplinary goals. Using the example of the EU soil mission, the workshop will show how actors from science and practice can realise their projects within the framework of the 9th EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation "Horizon Europe" and with the help of the EU structural, agricultural funds and how federal and state funding can contribute to preparatory or supplementary financing.
The workshop will take place on October 10, 2024 in Potsdam. This thematic focus was chosen because soils are increasingly being used in a variety of ways and sometimes reluctantly due to climate change, food production, as building land, as areas for industry and commerce and, last but not least, for leisure and recreation. The event is organized by three ministries of the state of Brandenburg, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
PREPSOIL at the event
ZALF, a PREPSOIL partner, will introduce the project to an audience composed by experts, policy makers of soil in Brandenburg, Germany. The presentation will be focused on "Status of Horizon Europe projects in Brandenburg, current research trends, challenges and opportunities."
