The University of Jaén hosted the launch meeting of the SOIL O-LIVE Project (The soil biodiversity and functionality of Mediterranean olive groves: a holistic analysis of the influence of land management on olive oil quality and safety), whose objective will be the study of its effect of agricultural management in the state of general health of the losses of Mediterranean olive trees, as well as their impact on the production and quality of olive oil acceptations produced in the Mediterranean region. The project, coordinated with the University of Jaén and the INUO, is funded by a consortium formed by 17 partners and has a total of 7 million euros in financing within the framework of the Soil Heath and Food Mission of the R+D+i Horizonte program Europe (European Union research and innovation framework program for the period 2021-2027).
PREPSOIL at the event
CSIC (partner in PREPSOIL) attended the event to present PREPSOIL and discuss collaborations opportunies related to the soil needs assessment workshop, which was organised the needs of Olive Production.
