In this project, fifteen to eighteen years old were engaged in experimental scientific activities, such as setting up macro and microscopic examination of culture of microorganisms (bacteria/fungi). Further, they studied seed germination in relation to different growth substrates. An activity for older students was in the process of being implemented. In that they will design a light-tracking agro-photovoltaic panel which can move according to a weather control unit, so in case of bad weather, the panel could flip over and expose it shock-protection side. The objective of the project was to increase soil literacy, how to protect it and create awareness about it. The project targeted an international level but emphasised the national level. The focus was on the complexity of relationships and interdependence in ecosystems throughout the project.
