Description

Les Hortillonnages d’Amiens is a remarkable natural site comprising a network of canals and floating gardens located in the heart of Amiens. This unique area has been cultivated since the Middle Ages and continues to be maintained by a dedicated association.

The association works to preserve the site through activities like canal maintenance and organizing boat tours for the public. The labor is covered by the association. The work is carried out year-round by our two teams, who travel the hortillonnages to preserve this heritage.

More than 1 km of riverbank has been renovated by the Hortillonnages team.
