The Antalya “PREPSOIL Regional Soil Needs Workshop” takes place on the 26th of April, 2023. This workshop aims to understand the most urgent needs for forests regions, namely in the NUTS 2 - TR61 region.

The workshop is supported by Karadeniz Technical University (Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forestry Engineering) and Yozgat Bozok University (Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science). It will take place at Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü Misafirhanesi (Regional Directorate of Forestry Guesthouse). The event will be organised in Turkish.

The goal of the workshop is to engage with the local community and understand the main needs of the soil in the region from their own perspective. Round-table sessions are planned after lunch.

Audience

Local people and administrators, agricultural producers, tourism professionals, Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry, Antalya Nature Conservation National Parks Branch Office, Mediterranean Forestry Research Institute, Tasagil Forestry Management Directorate, Chamber of Forest Engineers and Chamber of Agricultural Engineers.
